Position Description:

CGI is seeking an Omnichannel Data Analyst to play a critical role in transforming customer data into actionable insights that enhance the customer experience across marketing channels. This position is responsible for integrating, analyzing, and visualizing customer engagement, transaction, and behavioral data to support data-driven decision-making, optimize marketing performance, strengthen customer loyalty, and drive business growth.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights

. Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries across large-scale enterprise data environments to extract, validate, integrate, and analyze customer, transaction, and engagement data.
. Identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers by translating complex datasets into meaningful business insights.
. Support strategic decision-making through proactive analysis and data storytelling.

Reporting & Visualization

. Design, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions that track key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales lift, transaction volume, conversion rates, customer engagement, and journey performance.
. Monitor reporting accuracy and troubleshoot data or dashboard issues as needed.

Automation & Process Improvement

. Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting processes and streamline the delivery of insights to business partners, leadership, and stakeholders.
. Improve efficiency by implementing scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

Campaign Measurement & Attribution

. Create and manage campaign tracking parameters, including UTMs and Smartlinks, to ensure accurate performance measurement and attribution across marketing initiatives.
. Partner with marketing teams to establish consistent reporting frameworks and measurement standards.

Testing & Performance Optimization

. Collaborate with business leaders to design, execute, and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests across marketing channels.
. Apply statistical methodologies to assess performance, identify key drivers of customer behavior, and recommend optimization strategies that improve engagement, loyalty, and revenue outcomes.

Data Governance & Quality

. Promote data integrity through adherence to data governance standards, documentation practices, and compliance requirements.
. Support ongoing efforts to improve data quality, accessibility, and analytical consistency across the organization.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Technical Expertise

. Advanced SQL proficiency with demonstrated experience querying, analyzing, and integrating large-scale datasets from multiple sources.
. Experience optimizing query performance and developing scalable analytical solutions.
. Hands-on experience with Tableau, Databricks, Power BI, or similar business intelligence and analytics platforms.

Experimentation & Measurement

. Experience designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B and multivariate testing programs.
. Strong understanding of audience segmentation, statistical significance, test measurement, and performance evaluation.
. Ability to translate analytical findings into practical business recommendations.

Analytics & Marketing Technology

. Proficiency with digital analytics and customer insights platforms such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, CRM systems, or comparable technologies.
. Understanding of customer lifecycle, loyalty, CRM, and omnichannel marketing measurement practices.

Communication & Collaboration

. Strong ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
. Skilled at presenting insights through compelling data visualizations and business-focused storytelling.
. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, marketing analytics, CRM analytics, loyalty programs, or omnichannel marketing.
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience working within customer-focused, retail, loyalty, or digital marketing environments is preferred.

The role is located in Atlanta, GA in a hybrid working environment.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $176,300.00.
