Full Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team. As the Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents with physical impairments and functional limitations to help them achieve their highest level of mobility and independence.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate residents' physical abilities, functional limitations, and mobility needs using standardized assessments

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, resident goals, and physician orders

- Provide skilled Occupational Therapy interventions

- Monitor and document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

- Communicate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, Physical Therapists, and Speech Therapists, to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes for residents

- Educate residents and family members on Occupational Therapy goals, treatment plans, and home exercise programs

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of Occupational Therapy services provided

- Participate in team meetings, in-service education, and quality improvement initiatives

- Maintain current knowledge of Occupational Therapy practice and relevant regulations

Qualifications:

Current license to practice as a Occupational Therapist in the state of California

- Two years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred

- Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy practice standards and regulations
