What You'll Do:As an Occupational Therapist, you'll evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients maximize independence and improve quality of life. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, therapy assistants, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide outstanding patient-centered care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Establish measurable goals while monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as appropriate.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions that improve functional performance and independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers to promote successful outcomes beyond the clinic.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Delegate appropriate treatment activities to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and therapy aides while providing supervision and guidance.
- Mentor occupational therapy students and support clinical education opportunities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote best clinical practices.
- Assist with inpatient hospital therapy services in accordance with hospital policies and guidelines.
- Represent Gottsche Performance & Longevity professionally within the community while supporting outreach and marketing efforts.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Wyoming Occupational Therapy license (or eligible for licensure).
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to travel as needed and meet the requirements of Gottsche's automobile insurance carrier.
