Occupational Therapist to provide in-person services for special needs school students aged 5-14.
Occupational Therapist Position Details: Position 1: - Full-Time or Part-Time (8 am-2 pm)
- $70 - $80 per hour
- For the remainder of the current school year
Position 2: - Full-Time or Part-Time (full-time preferred)
- $68 - $75 per hour
- For ESY and the upcoming school year (ESY program goes from 7/6-8/14)
Occupational Therapist Qualification(s): - Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New York
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities May Include: - Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals.
- Assisting in evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require occupational therapy.
- Providing continued support for students' Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
