Full Job Description
This position will practice under the direction of the Open Heart Physician in the clinic setting. The Advanced Nurse Clinician/Physician Assistant assesses patients' Medical/surgical conditions, administers treatments under physician orders or in conformity with usual practice, advises and counsels patients or their legal guardian of patient problems. This privilege does not include the practice of obtaining informed consent. Demonstrates knowledge of the psychosocial needs, clinical assessment implications, and/or consequences of technology.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an ASN or BSN; graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Masters of Medical Science or Physician Assistant studies.
Must hold a National Certification
Current Tennessee license
1-3 years preferred
