Now Hiring: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Neurology

Salary: $150,000-$220,000 annually

This is an excellent opportunity for a provider with an interest or background in neurology who is looking for clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, strong physician and administrative support, and the opportunity to help grow a specialty program serving the long-term care population.
About the Role

Our neurology providers deliver on-site specialty care to residents of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.

You will evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions while collaborating closely with facility physicians, nursing teams, rehabilitation staff, and administration.
Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site neurological consultations and follow-up visits
  • Evaluate and manage common neurological conditions, including:
    • Stroke and post-stroke neurological care
    • Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders
    • Dementia and cognitive decline
    • Seizure disorders
    • Neuropathy
    • Tremors
    • Headaches and other neurological complaints
  • Review relevant laboratory results, imaging, medications, and diagnostic testing
  • Develop and communicate treatment recommendations to facility clinical teams
  • Coordinate neurological diagnostic testing, including EEG when clinically appropriate
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation teams, and facility leadership
  • Help reduce unnecessary hospital transfers and outside specialist transportation through timely on-site neurological care
  • Document in facility EMRs, with training and administrative support provided
