Salary: Starting at $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

A Different Kind of Nurse Practitioner Role
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) to support an onsite employee health and wellness clinic in a professional corporate setting in Midtown Manhattan.
Unlike a traditional high-volume primary care or urgent care setting, this role focuses on preventive services, health screenings, point-of-care testing, wellness education, and appropriate evaluation of acute health concerns during the workday.

Responsibilities
• Respond to onsite medical situations involving employees
• Administer vaccines, including flu and COVID, under standing orders and documentation requirements
• Perform point-of-care testing, including COVID, flu, strep, glucose, and cholesterol testing as needed
• Support biometric screenings and preventive health services
• Provide lifestyle coaching related to nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, and long-term wellness
• Recommend appropriate follow-up care or referrals
• Manage patient appointments and clinic workflows
• Maintain onsite medical equipment and supplies
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical protocols
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and related privacy requirements
Qualifications
• Active, unrestricted New York Nurse Practitioner license
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or advanced practice nursing program
• Current national board certification appropriate to your specialty
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, occupational health, or a similar setting
• Knowledge of blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, and preventive care
• Comfortable practicing independently within established protocols and scope of practice
• Excellent communication, patient education, documentation, and organizational skills
• Able to work effectively in a professional corporate environment
• Able to reliably commute to Midtown Manhattan
