Full Job Description
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy Gastroenterology team in Bloomington, IN!

Job Description:
  • Full-Time, Day Shift
    • Monday-Friday
    • 10-hour shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
    • All day shift rotation
    • Call Schedule- No required but, there is optional night call, phone only, during inpatient week
  • No weekends
  • 85% outpatient, 15% inpatient
Key Responsibilities:
  • GI APP will be responsible for seeing patients in the clinic for the majority of their time, 6 weeks.
  • There is a 2-week inpatient rotation and that a week off.
Qualifications:
  • Must be board certified or board eligible
  • ACNP, FNP or PA certification required
  • Master's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years nursing experience
  • Gastroenterology experience preferred
  • PA with Gastroenterology experience- Clinical rotations in specialty

Healthcare System/Hospital Description

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center, part of the Indiana University Health Medical Group, opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
