Full Job Description
Indiana University Health Medical Group has an employment opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Pain Management team in Bloomington Indiana. The ideal candidate must be highly adaptable with some experience, the willingness to learn, and discretion with public figures and or high visibility with patients. The candidate must also have patience in dealing with the challenges of chronic pain.

Position Details:
  • Full-time
  • Days, Will consider 4-10-hour days or 5-8-hour days
  • 100% outpatient
  • No call
Procedures:
  • Ability to perform Botox and U/S guided procedures will be considered based on trust and performance, and trigger point injections
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform Independently in the Pain management clinic to support current physicians/practice
  • Provider will see new patients, established patients and post procedure patients
Qualifications:
  • ACNP, AGNP, FNP and PA
  • 2-3 years of practicing in pain management, primary care
  • New grads considered
  • Excellent communication skills through documentation and discussion with patients and providers
  • Ability to follow protocols

Healthcare System/Hospital Description

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center, part of the Indiana University Health Medical Group, opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
