Full Job Description
As a nurse practitioner employed by FCCMG, you are expected to contribute to the clinical mission, as well as the research (clinical) and academic agenda of the Department of Medicine and the Center as a whole. You will play an essential role in supporting clinical programs to satisfy these goals. Predominately, the nurse practitioner's time will be devoted to clinical responsibilities. Depending on your area and as volume dictates, you may be responsible for covering various aspects of patient care, including but not limited to, outpatient clinic sessions, inpatient consultation liaison services, medication and therapy management and weekday and weekend call rotation at the discretion of the Section Chief and the Chairman of Medicine. Your clinical schedule will be coordinated in accordance with departmental needs and consideration of your practice goals. You will be provided appropriate clinical practice space to allow you to maintain a successful clinical practice.
