Responsibilities

  • Obtain complete medical histories and physical data on patients.

  • Order necessary laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
  • Synthesize data to establish preliminary diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
  • Maintain and review patient records and respond to telephone consultations.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as biopsies and artificial insemination.

Full Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for primary care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices. If your experience aligns with the following qualifications, and you have women's healthcare experience and a desire to work with fertility patients, we welcome your application!

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Opportunity to float to our satellite offices in the future.

What you will do:

  • Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients.
  • Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed.
  • Performs a complete physical exam and records findings. Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.
  • Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
  • Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention.
  • Administers medication and injections according to physician direction.
  • Maintains and reviews patients' records, charts and other pertinent information.
  • Triages patient telephone calls and provides consultation.
  • Performs diagnostic procedures (HSC, STP, Biopsies) and artificial insemination.
  • Performs ultrasound for patients during morning monitoring.


What is required:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
  • A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic setting.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner License, ANA Certification.
  • Strong Written and Interpersonal communication skills.
  • OB-GYN REI experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ultrasound and phlebotomy experience preferred.
