How you'll make an impact in this role- Lead and empower the Mother-Baby care team by driving daily workflows, allocating nursing resources efficiently, and fostering an environment where staff thrive and deliver exceptional family-centered care.
- Direct the full talent lifecycle-from hiring and onboarding to continuous clinical coaching and performance evaluation-building a resilient, high-performing team dedicated to newborn and postpartum excellence.
- Elevate patient care quality by proactively identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks, ensuring seamless care journeys and outstanding patient experiences for new mothers and infants.
- Shape unit operational policy through the creation and implementation of efficient clinical workflows that guarantee safety, regulatory readiness, and compliance with all healthcare accreditation standards.
- Steward unit financial resources by managing operational budgets, monitoring expenditures, and strategic planning to ensure the team has the staffing and resources required for top-tier care.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Mother Baby
- Minimum 1 year of formal experience in an RN leadership role (e.g., Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager).
