Nurse Educator- Post Partum 5SB and 6SB- Full Time- Days

Bring your talents toMorgan Stanley Childrens Hospital. The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for staff development including orientation, in-services, continuing and mandated education for all levels of staff. Responsibilities included but are not limited to: conductingclinical rounds, identifying the individual and collective learning needs of staff, developing course curriculum and teaching classes, incorporating research findings and using cutting-edge technology (e.g., on-linelearning modules and simulation). This role promotes best clinical practices and inspires award-winning nurses. The Clinical Nurse Educator provides leadership in the development, implementation, and review of Nursing Standards.

This is a full-time day position in the Postpartum Units at NewYork-Presbyterian/ Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital

PreferredCriteria

Nursing Education experience, including simulation experience

Women's Health Nursing experience

Basic Life Support Instructor Certification

Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor

National certification in Nursing Professional Development and/ or clinical specialty

Required Criteria

Minimum of 4 years related experience

Current NYS RN licensure

Masters Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education

BCLS certificationthrough the AHA
