Job Description:

Responsible for managing and leading the department/area in a manner which promotes the University of Toledo Medical Center Mission, Vision and Values of Teamwork, Quality and Service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
-Current and active licensure as RN in state of Ohio.
-BSN required.
-Current BLS certification required.
-Three years' experience working as a RN in an acute care setting.
-Three years nursing management or other leadership experience in an acute care setting.
-Advanced degree (Masters) from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Health Service (Public Health) Administration or related area preferred.
-Specialty certification preferred.
-Communication
1. Exhibits accuracy, integrity and flexibility; is punctual and dependable.
2. Possesses organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
3. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
4. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills; possesses group facilitation skills.

6. Must maintain a positive work attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
