TriVector Services, Inc., is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Nuclear Propulsion Systems Avionics Integrator position.

The successful candidate will provide avionics systems engineering support for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) Solid Rocket Booster, to include SLS Block 1, and Block 1B and future configurations. Tasks include (but are not limited to):
  • Supporting avionics hardware/software design, integration and verification for SNP engines
  • Coordinating scheduling and meetings (which may include test support, tracking action items, assisting in planning activities
  • Supporting trade studies
  • Performing systems analyses
  • Providing engineering insight for flight avionics
  • Risk management inputs
  • Coordinating technical performance measures
  • Supporting reviews, working groups and boards; providing monthly status to NASA management, and biweekly status to the contractor lead


Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • A Star ID is required to access Marshall Space Flight Center
  • Education: a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in an engineering or science discipline, preferably from an ABET accredited university
  • Typical experience requirements are a Ph.D. with at least 9 years of experience, Master's Degree with at least 13 years of experience, or Bachelor's with at least 15 years of experience
  • Must have experience in avionics requirements, design, trade studies, milestone reviews, interface definition, change management, risk management, and safety
  • Must be able to review avionics products and provide relevant feedback, have good coordination and communication skills, be pro-active, multitask and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with NASA's Systems Engineering processes and SNP (or other comparable nuclear system)
