About the Job

State Directors are entrepreneurial, growth minded individuals with two primary areas of focus: Program Growth and Advancement. We are looking for a high-capacity individual that possesses the strategic vision to integrate these two pillars simultaneously. Program Growth includes developing grassroots community interest while building a network of local and regional leaders to help amplify the LifeWise message across your state. Advancement focuses on developing new and managing current donor relationships, high-level strategic partnerships, and government relations.

Responsibilities

Program Growth Responsibilities
  • Serve as an ambassador and spokesperson throughout the state, introducing people to the concept of LifeWise and guiding communities through the process of launching a LifeWise program.
  • Connect with existing networks of ministries, churches, and organizations, as well as recruiting local volunteers to help cultivate grassroots community interest and start local programs.
  • Conduct regular "LifeWise 101" informational meetings throughout your state to raise awareness, grow community support, and identify local leaders.
  • Analyze data and trends to Identify strategic communities which can help accelerate growth momentum across the state.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies while using Salesforce to track performance and manage consistent and timely follow up tasks to achieve quarterly and annual goals.

Advancement Responsibilities
  • Lead the entire fundraising lifecycle-from identifying new partnership opportunities and leads within the state to final presentation and closing.
  • Proactively "hunt" for new philanthropic leads by leveraging state-wide professional networks and community connections.
  • Deliver compelling, vision-driven presentations to C-suite executives, high-net-worth individuals, and high capacity community groups.
  • Host and lead multiple events throughout the year, ensuring high-quality attendee experiences and clear, effective financial invitations.
  • Build long-term, high-trust relationships with existing partners, moving them toward transformational, multi-year commitments.
  • Meet or exceed significant annual revenue targets through individual solicitations and strategic statewide events

Note: The State Director does not provide primary oversight for established local programs. Once up and running, local programs are overseen by Program Coaches in the Program Health division. However, the State Director may be called upon by program coaches to assist in certain situations.

Qualifications
  • A mature personal Christian faith that is consistent with the LifeWise Statement of Faith.
  • Self-Starter/Entrepreneur- the ability to thrive in an autonomous remote environment. Maintain high daily activity without the need of daily supervision.
  • Established residency in the state of Texas (ideally Dallas Forth Worth metro area).
  • A communicator - exceptional public speaking and interpersonal skills; high emotional intelligence.
  • Previous sales and/or fundraising experience preferred.
  • Experience in management and people leadership a plus.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with ministry personnel, C-suite executives, and community leaders.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM tool), Google Workspace, project management tools, and consultative growth/sales methodologies.
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, resilient, and persevering, ensuring success in challenging environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel statewide including a minimum of one overnight stay per week (more at times).


Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive base salary beginning at $90,000, adjusted for experience and scope, plus additional bonus potential based on measurable performance outcomes
