Regional Growth Leader - Buildings

Location: North Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth Region)

Position Summary

Garver's Buildings Business Line is seeking a Regional Growth Leader to drive strategic growth and expand the firm's presence throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This role requires a strategic, relationship-focused leader who can strengthen client partnerships, elevate Garver's market visibility, and position the firm for success on key building design opportunities.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Growth and Business Development, the Regional Growth Leader will collaborate closely with North Texas Buildings leadership, technical teams, and support staff to align client engagement efforts, pursuit strategies, and business development objectives.

Success in this role will be measured by increased brand visibility across the Dallas-Fort Worth region, stronger client relationships, enhanced pursuit positioning, and sustained growth in qualified building design opportunities.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape Garver's building design growth strategy in one of the nation's most dynamic markets while establishing the firm as a trusted partner for priority clients and projects across North Texas.

Core Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Buildings North Texas team members to develop and execute a growth strategy for building design services that supports the Buildings Business Line's strategic objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and help advance new opportunities that align with the strategic growth plan for the Buildings Business Line.
  • Build relationships with clients, teaming partners, and community influencers inside and outside the firm.
  • Anticipate client needs and position Garver as a go-to partner for building design solutions.
  • Partner with technical and marketing teams to develop compelling win themes that connect pre-pursuit strategy to qualifications packages, proposals, and interview presentations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong professional network
  • Represent Garver in the local market through industry conferences and community engagement.
  • Actively participate in professional and community organizations such as SMPS, AIA, ULI, and other groups relevant to the North Texas buildings market.
  • Deliver exceptional client service to maintain and grow relationships.


Capabilities
  • Proven track record in securing major business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in executing and monitoring business plans.
  • Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Industry-specific knowledge relevant to the business line's focus.
  • Experience in managing pursuits in diverse industries or sectors.


Education / Certification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with six (6) or more years of related experience in the Architectural / Engineering / Construction (A/E/C) industry.
  • Without a degree, ten (10) or more years of relevant A/E/C experience are required.
  • Preferred: Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification, or active pursuit of certification.
