North America Home Print Category Manager

Job Summary

The Manager, North America Home Category is responsible for leading the strategy, performance, and growth of HP's Home Print portfolio across the North America market. This role owns category business results, including P&L accountability, and drives market success through effective portfolio management, go-to-market execution, and cross-functional leadership.

Leading a team of product category managers, this individual oversees the product lifecycle from New Product Introduction (NPI) through End of Life (EOL), ensuring a competitive and profitable portfolio that meets customer and market needs. The role partners closely with Global Business Unit, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and WW Category teams to align strategy, accelerate execution, and deliver business objectives.

As a key leader within the organization, this individual influences senior stakeholders, drives strategic decision-making, anticipates market trends and business risks, and fosters a high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team responsible for the North America Home Print portfolio, driving accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Own category business performance, including revenue, profitability, market share, and overall P&L results.
  • Define and execute the North America 4P strategy (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion) to maximize business growth and customer value.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from NPI through EOL, ensuring portfolio competitiveness, operational excellence, and effective transition planning.
  • Partner with Global Business Units and Commercial Organizations to develop a market-leading portfolio aligned with customer and channel requirements.
  • Develop strategic plans with sales leadership and key stakeholders to optimize product positioning, demand generation, and business performance.
  • Drive alignment across marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure successful execution of category priorities.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and emerging industry trends to identify opportunities and inform business strategy.
  • Proactively assess business risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure continuity and achievement of financial objectives.
  • Communicate category performance, business insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices.


Education & Experience Recommended
  • First level university degree with a focus in Marketing, Business, or Engineering; advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing or exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of business.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $178,250 to $279,900 USD annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonuses and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
