Job Summary:

As part of the newly created DACS organization, this role of the North America Area Manager leads a team of Digital Adoption Representatives (DARs) focused on accelerating the adoption of Caterpillar's digital products for the U.S. and Canada. This role is pivotal in aligning digital strategies with dealer priorities, gathering feedback to improve product offerings, and developing a high-performing team of dealer facing digital reps.

What You Will Do:

Strategic Leadership & Dealer Alignment
  • Responsible for driving digital transformation and product adoption for the U.S. and Canada
  • Establish alignment with dealer leaders on the Dealer Digital Roadmaps and ensure execution is in line with aligned digital priorities

Performance & Impact
  • Build and lead a team of high performing Digital Adoption Reps who serve as trusted advisor for dealer digital acceleration
  • Lead the alignment of digital goals and targets with dealer digital leaders. Collaborate with district teams, Industry to ensure alignment and adoption goals and support dealer success
  • Monitor and report on adoption metrics and KPIs, ensuring measurable impact on dealer engagement and customer success.

Product Feedback & VOC Integration
  • Proactively lead execution priorities by identifying areas of improvement and roadblocks to adoption and lead to resolution
  • Create a structured process to gather VOC/VOD to drive digital adoption.
  • Partner with Product Adoption Consultants (PACs) to ensure feedback is translated into actionable insights for product improvement and actions to drive digital adoption.

Team Development & Enablement
  • Develop and lead DARs, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, training, and strategic guidance needed to succeed.
  • Drive onboarding and continuous learning initiatives, including role-based enablement and modern training resources.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and regional expertise, ensuring reps are deeply engaged with dealer digital teams


What You Will Have:
  • Customer Focus: Drives a customer centric culture and proactively reviews digital adoption from a customer lens. Drive deep understanding of customer needs and expectations. Drives strategic feedback and input into Cat & dealer digital roadmaps
  • Digital Products, Solutions Knowledge & Value: Drives focus on clearly communicating value of digital products and solutions to dealers and customers. Leads strategic discussions with dealers and the team with ability to connect the digital ecosystem and solutions. Ensures DARs and dealers are up to speed on current status, product updates and upcoming features
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Influencing & Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Technical Expertise: Foundational understanding of relevant technologies and their applications. Actively pursues learning opportunities to maintain and enhance technical proficiency in support of excellence


Additional Information:

Travel for this role is estimated at 60%-70% both domestic and Canada

Summary Pay Range:

$159,120.00 - $238,680.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
