Description

Aurora's Nodal Analytics service provides long-term forecasts of around-the-clock (ATC), top-bottom-4 (TB4), and generation-weighted average (GWA) basis values for nodes in the respective markets. The service combines Aurora's proprietary nodal power market modeling with detailed forecasts of generation interconnection activity, transmission network upgrades, and changing grid conditions to assess future locational value across the system.

Analysts in the team develop nodal market forecasts, conduct transmission and congestion analysis, and deliver research and data products that support investment, development, and commercial decision-making for market participants across the U.S. and Canada.
