Job Description

ECS is seeking a NOC Analyst (Tier 2) - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard's mission-critical network operations and cybersecurity initiatives. The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Task 4 - Enterprise Operations Support - provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the RCC-ARNG Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure and DoDIN-connected services to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze alerts and perform advanced troubleshooting to resolve connectivity and performance issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and validate remediation actions to maintain network integrity.
  • Escalate complex outages following established protocols and document incidents for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Maintain situational awareness of network health and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Validate incident triage, escalation decisions, and restoration activities to support service-level objectives.
  • Coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to sustain network availability and mission continuity.
  • Provide shift-level performance reporting to leadership and review ticket quality for completeness.


Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CND, GFACT, GSEC, Security+
  • Education: Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supporting and supervising enterprise NOC operations within DoD or Federal environments.
  • Proven experience in real-time monitoring of enterprise network infrastructure and DoDIN-connected services.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain continuous situational awareness of enterprise system health.
  • Experience serving as on-shift escalation authority and coordinating resolution activities.
