Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in engineering or a related field required
• Project Management Professional certificate or Professional Engineer licensure preferred
• Minimum 10 years' experience in progressive project management, engineering design, and construction management preferred
• Supervisory and leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of project management techniques required
• Technical capability in engineering design preferred
• Experience with capital and project management systems preferred
• Data and business analysis skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute capital projects within existing framework to align with business objectives
• Evaluate and prioritize prospective projects through trade-off studies
• Develop project schedules and budgets with appropriate detail
• Conduct financial assessments in coordination with Finance partners
• Support a safety culture for zero-harm project execution
• Manage relationships with consultants, vendors, and contractors
• Direct engineering processes for fit-for-purpose designs
• Coordinate procurement strategies and develop work scopes
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting project execution
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
• Manage capital spending and report financial variances
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives to deliver savings
• Mentor developing project engineers
