Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated attorney with a strong background in personal injury law, particularly on the plaintiff side. This is an excellent opportunity to join our reputable law firm and make a significant impact in the field of personal injury litigation. The successful candidate must be licensed to practice law in New York.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a caseload of personal injury cases from initiation through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies to negotiate settlements and facilitate the litigation process.
  • Conduct depositions, attend court hearings, and represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to devise case strategies for optimal outcomes.
  • Stay updated on changes in personal injury laws and legal trends to provide knowledgeable counsel to clients.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in New York State, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience handling plaintiffs' personal injury matters, with a focus on New York law.

Compensation Range:

$150,000-$200,000 USD

Compensation: The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to; prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors. Additionally, salary wages are only part of the total compensation package.
