Job SummaryThis Pediatrician will examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. They counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare. Hours to be determined by Medical Director and new Pediatrician.
Responsibilities and Duties- Perform assessments and diagnoses of patients and offer appropriate treatment
- Provide care in age-appropriate manner
- Review and develop patient educational material
- Supervise Nurse Practitioners on staff scheduled as needed
- Develop and uphold a program for quality assurance within the clinic
- Keep scheduled hours for extended clinic availability, and maintain schedule flexibility as the clinic expands
Qualifications and Skills- MD or DO degree
- 1- 5+ years' experience in pediatric medicine
- Licensed in the state of Florida
- Board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics
- DEA certified
- Experience with EHR (electronic health records)
- Excellent written and oral communication skill
- Bi-lingual Preferred *Spanish not required

Compensation for Full time $190K with benefits, Part time/PRN varies based on number of days in the week.
