What You Will DoThis is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of physicians and APPs.
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system.
- Deliver inpatient neurology consultation services, providing comprehensive care for patients in the ED, ICU, and medical/surgical units.
- Manage acute neurological emergencies, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, seizures (including status epilepticus), acute encephalopathy, meningitis, and spinal cord disorders.
- Empower patients and families through proactive education on neurological conditions, treatment pathways, and lifestyle management to support long-term quality of life.
- Ensure seamless care continuity by coordinating multidisciplinary referrals and connecting patients with vital healthcare and community resources.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
Education:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
Additional Preferences- 2 years of Neurology APP experience.
