ResponsibilitiesSentinel Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Engineer with CCIE-level expertise in Routing and Switching. This is a high-impact, senior-level role requiring deep technical knowledge, strong customer engagement skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced enterprise environment and play a key role in supporting and optimizing complex network infrastructures.
This is a full-time remote role with occasional on-site support at the Downers Grove, Illinois office.Qualifications- CCIE (Routing & Switching) certification or equivalent hands-on expertise is required
- Must have experience in network engineering/support within enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and F5 load balancers
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments
- Experience mentoring or overseeing junior engineers
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude

Compensation: $150,000-$170,000
