Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• Network security certification (e.g., PCNSE or CCNA)
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network design, implementation, or support
• Experience in IT security or systems administration
• Working knowledge of secure network design and security architecture
• Ability to analyze logs, alerts, and network telemetry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Must be a South Carolina resident
• Ability to work fully onsite in Columbia, SC

Responsibilities

• Support daily cybersecurity operations within the Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Investigate and respond to network security alerts
• Perform network security assessments for firewall and infrastructure changes
• Analyze network traffic, logs, alerts, and telemetry for potential threats
• Review firewall rules, connectivity requests, and website access requests
• Support secure network planning, engineering, and compliance initiatives
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement security controls
• Assist with cloud and on-premise network security enhancements
