Full Job Description
This is an onsite role based out of our office in Loveland, Colorado. The Target Pay Range for this position is $85,000 - $105,800 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training, and budget.

JOB SUMMARY

The Network & Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for the health, security, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. Working closely with DT Leadership and Engineering teams, this role administers core systems including Microsoft 365/Entra ID, Azure, Hyper-V virtual environments, SAN storage, backup/disaster recovery solutions, and corporate network architecture. This individual serves as an escalation point for complex technical issues and proactively drives system reliability, security compliance, and performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Network & Infrastructure Systems Management (85%) of position responsibility
  • Maintain, monitor, and optimize enterprise compute, virtualization (Hyper-V), SAN storage, and networking hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi) to maximize uptime.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, and hybrid identity/directory structures.
  • Enforce robust network security practices in alignment with PCI-DSS and internal cybersecurity standards.
  • Manage data backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions (BUDR) to safeguard corporate assets.
  • Administer firewalls, VPNs, routing, DNS/DHCP, and LAN/WAN/SD-WAN configurations.
  • Perform proactive patch management, firmware upgrades, and capacity planning across core server and storage hardware.
  • Monitor system health, performance metrics, and service availability using modern enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.


Tier 3 Escalation & Technical Leadership (15%) of position responsibility
  • Serve as the highest technical escalation tier for advanced network, server, and application issues originating from IT Support teams.
  • Partner with IT Service Desk leadership to improve technical documentation, incident resolution workflows, and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide occasional high-touch support for executive leadership or critical system interruptions as required.


Continuous Improvement & Other Duties (5%) of position responsibility
  • Evaluate emerging infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies to recommend upgrades and efficiencies.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for critical system disruptions and maintenance windows.
  • Complete special IT projects and perform other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 2 to 3 years of hands-on systems and network administration experience.
  • Equivalent Experience: 4 to 5 years of progressive IT experience in desktop support, systems administration, networking, and cloud services in lieu of a degree.


TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERTISE:
  • Virtualization & Storage: Strong experience managing Hyper-V High Availability clusters and SAN storage hardware (Dell PowerStore or similar).
  • Networking & Security: Advanced knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto, Sophos, or Cisco), VPNs, VLANs, switching, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security enforcement.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem: Proficiency with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory/Entra ID, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 administration, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Cloud & Backup: Experience managing cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and enterprise backup solutions (Unitrends, Veeam, or equivalent).
  • Certifications (Preferred): Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar technical certifications.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Onsite office and server room environment in Loveland, CO, or Longmont, CO.
  • Standard operational hours with occasional scheduled off-hours maintenance and on-call availability.
