The impact you can have

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for local and remote users, including troubleshooting wireless and wired connectivity for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, conference rooms, and shared workspaces.

  • Partner closely with the Client Services team to resolve end-user connectivity issues, improve escalation quality, and reduce repeat incidents through documentation and root-cause analysis.

  • Support the Network Engineering team in day-to-day operational work, including network maintenance, MDF/IDF cleanup, and readiness activities for building or facilities maintenance.

  • Install, configure, validate, and support network assets such as routers, switches, wireless access points, cabling, switch ports, trunks, VLANs, and related campus network components.

  • Apply practical knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP to assist with implementation, validation, troubleshooting, and change support in an enterprise environment.

  • Participate in network engineering projects by gathering requirements, assisting with design discussions, testing proposed solutions, documenting changes, and supporting implementation activities.

  • Recommend and help implement enterprise networking best practices, standards, and repeatable processes that improve network reliability and the end-user experience.

  • Develop and maintain support documentation, diagrams, standard operating procedures, VLAN references, MDF/IDF switch documentation, and wireless access point inventories.

  • Manage network support tickets, prioritize critical issues appropriately, communicate status clearly, and escalate to support partners or Tier 3 network engineering when needed.

  • Prioritize executive and business-critical support needs when required, including C-level support scenarios.

  • Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed for maintenance windows, outages, or time-sensitive operational activities.

  • Work onsite five days per week to provide hands-on support for local connectivity, campus networking, conference room issues, and project-related implementation work.
