Onsite Job: Network Engineer Level 3 Work Location: San Diego, CA
Shift Time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Schedule: 9/80A
Education: Bachelor's in Science in a STEM field
Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance Required
Responsibilities: - Design and plan network communications systems.
- Develop specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
- Provide detailed hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools to support current and future business needs.
- Conduct testing of network designs.
- Maintain technical expertise in network and computer hardware/software interconnection and interfacing, including routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways.
- Evaluate and recommend new communications technologies to enhance network capabilities.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's in Science in a STEM field with 5 years of experience, or
- Master's in a STEM field with 3 years of experience, or
- PhD in a STEM field with 1 year of experience.
- CompTIA Network+ or similar certification.
- Experience with Juniper, SDWAN, and Cisco routers and switches.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: - CompTIA Security+ Certification.
- CCNA Certification.
