What you'll do...

Position: Network Engineer III, Information Security

Job Location: 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716

Duties: Coding: To create/configure minimalistic code for entire component/application and ensure the components are meeting business/technical requirements, non-functional requirements, low-maintainability, high-availability and high-scalability needs. Assist in the selection of appropriate languages (E.g. JavaScript, Python, C# etc.), development standards and tools (E.g. Monday.com, Linx, Embold etc.) for software coding/configuration. Take initiative to learn the fundamentals of different coding languages and frameworks that would be useful for future scope of work. Build scripts for automation of repetitive and routine tasks in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), Testing or any other process (as applicable). Implement telemetry features as required independently. Ensure security policy requirements are properly applied to components/application during code development/configuration. Network Operations: Suggest metrics to monitor network performance effectively. Monitors current performance data to ensure adherence to defined SLOs for multiple network applications/systems. Determine thresholds for the monitoring metrics and trigger alerts based on those thresholds. Requirement and Scoping Analysis: Prepare requirement traceability matrix and maintain traceability between business requirements, functional requirements, design and test cases. Contribute to the creation of user stories for component/module/simple requirements (for example: based on scalability etc.) (For agile methodology). Network Design: To translate a broader infrastructure design or blueprint into technical specifications and details to develop advanced addressing and routing, security, data center, and IP multicast complex architectures with VPN and wireless domains. Draft design specifications of infrastructure network components that address usage, performance and security requirements. Network Maintenance: To create change/maintenance plans for network updates, expansions and enhancements, within design scope. Take appropriate action to isolate or limit network faults and failures. Resolve network faults and failures following broad recovery principles and procedures. Investigate the causes for unresolved faults and propose solutions that can address. Network Issue Resolution: Independently identify and elaborate possible and feasible solutions to the issues raised. Evaluate all available options to resolve the raised issues for projects of moderate complexity. Investigate and diagnose Incidents to restore a failed IT Service as quickly as possible and within the specified SLA's. Security Domain Acumen: To demonstrate awareness of various principles, ways of working, and subdomain-specific terminologies. Compares the maturity of products, services, and processes within a subdomain against others in the industry. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field and 2 years of experience in Network Engineering or related experience; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Building proxy solutions & infrastructure for web-based network traffic to ensure secure internet access & F5 load balancing infrastructure for HTTP/HTTP traffic; Developing & troubleshooting Proxy PAC solutions that allow for secure web access using Explicit web proxy implementations & FireEye for Malware detection/analysis; Using network traffic troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, HAR logs, Netlogs, Tcpdump; Configuring network devices & reporting to identity & access solution using AAA protocols; Building scalable, fault tolerant network security infrastructure & conducting active BCDR tests across security services such as email, proxy, and vpn; Designing network infrastructure automation solutions using coding solutions with ansible; Consulting on complex operational issues related to Internet traffic, email, remote access & authentication in large, multi-vendor network environments; Building change plans & templates to perform hardware & software maintenance of network security devices (Proxies, BIG IP F5, Email security appliances); Certificate Lifecycle management - updating & maintaining certificates across network platforms & hardware types; Building remote access solutions using VPN technologies & diving deep into VPN related issues caused by firewalls, AAA access policies, RADIUS protocol issues, internet connectivity, etc. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Rate of pay: $90,000.00 - 180,000.00/year
