** AWARD PENDING **Titan Technologies is seeking a senior-level Network Architect to provide technical leadership and oversight for the design, implementation, and evolution of complex enterprise network architectures.
The Network Architect serves as the primary technical authority responsible for the architecture, performance, reliability, and security posture of all infrastructure components. This role ensures all engineering, maintenance, design, and optimization activities align with customer objectives and comply with operational, security, and technical standards.
The Network Manager/Architect bridges strategic design and operational execution, ensuring that network solutions are sustainable and aligned with long-term objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide end-to-end oversight for all WAN, LAN, MAN, firewall, and transport network components.
- Serve as senior technical advisor to the customer for all network engineering and network architect matters.
- Lead design and implementation of redundant and high-availability architectures.
- Oversee deployment of network solutions to ensure they are executed in full compliance with project requirements, technical specifications and quality standards, while meeting established timelines.
- Lead engineering teams during troubleshooting of complex routing, switching, and transport-related issues.
- Supervise network engineering teams, providing technical guidance, training, peer reviews and performance oversight.
- Approve major configuration changes, design packages, and engineering recommendations.
- Oversee capacity planning, performance analysis, and lifecycle management. Including monitoring network infrastructure utilization trends and plan enhancements to meet future demand.
- Ensure network resilience, redundancy, and failover designs meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for escalated support cases, software upgrades, and hardware remediation.
- Maintain mastery-level understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, EVPN), security standards, and fiber transport systems.
- Ensure network documentation is accurate, complete, and continuously updated.
- Support major incidents as Tier 3 escalation authority, including after-hours emergencies.
- Support lifecycle planning and modernization initiatives.
You MUST have:- 10+ years of experience designing and managing enterprise network environments.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting networks with at least 1,000 network devices.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting multi-site network environments.
- Advanced expertise in routing, switching, and large-scale network architectures.
- Must have experience with large backbone networks and fiber infrastructures.
- Must hold a current senior-level network engineering certificate such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE), or an equivalent advanced networking certification.
- Strong experience producing and reviewing detailed network diagrams and architecture documentation.
- Experience supporting mission-critical or high-availability environments.
- Proven experience in design, implementation and troubleshooting of complex network architectures. Telecom and Data Center network environments encouraged to apply!
Education:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
