Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist to join our growing team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, autonomous environment with a supportive team and a hospital committed to expanding its Women's & Children's services.

  • Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists and 4.5 NNPs
  • Facility Details:
    • 25-bed Level III NICU
    • 36-bed Newborn Nursery
    • ~3,888 annual deliveries
    • NICU ADC: 12.6 | Nursery ADC: 15.4
    • Regional transport team staffed by RNs and RTs
  • Coverage Includes:
    • NICU, newborn nursery, and high-risk deliveries
    • NNPs provide 1st call coverage at night
