The Opportunity:
The Navy Advanced Technologies Program Analyst supports a new US Navy Program Office’s Advanced Technology Branch to provide analytical, reporting, and digital modernization support through the development of metrics, dashboards, workflow tools, and data-driven reporting solutions for individual projects under the management of the Navy Program Office.
Responsibilities:
Collects, analyzes, and visualizes program data to improve decision-making, increase operational transparency, and support executive-level visibility into program performance and operational trends using tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Power Apps.
Serves as a liaison between the Program Office and Navy Operational Energy stakeholders to ensure program initiatives, reporting efforts, and modernization activities are aligned.
Develops and maintains program performance metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting tools.
Builds workflow automation and reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, and related Microsoft technologies.
Supports data collection, normalization, analysis, and visualization efforts across multiple stakeholders and systems.
Provides analytical support for program management reviews, leadership briefings, and strategic planning efforts.
Coordinate with Navy Operational Energy stakeholders to ensure alignment with departmental priorities and initiatives.
Identifies trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Assists with preparation of briefing materials, status reports, and data calls for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
BS engineering or information science degree with 5+ yrs. relevant experience, and prior experience with shipbuilding programs is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Power Apps.
Ability to write detailed meeting minutes, develop briefings, and other required reports.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment in a fast-paced environment.
Desired:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with the Navy’s Operational Energy Program and initiatives and DoD Programs.
Advanced technology transition experience on Navy ships.
Proficiency with Power BI, Power Apps, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and data visualization best practices.
Experience developing executive dashboards, metrics frameworks, and reporting solutions.
Ability to translate complex technical or operational data into concise leadership-focused products and present data.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$86,600 - $181,800
