Full Job Description
We are seeking an associate with 6+ years of experience to join the National Security Group. Our team advises asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, major companies, and financial institutions on U.S. national security regulatory regimes, including economic sanctions, export controls, CFIUS, DCSA, and outbound investment restrictions. We support clients in transactional matters, compliance counseling, internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement. Our practice is top ranked across industry publications, including Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 US. Salary is $390,000 commensurate with class year and experience. We are looking for: • Substantial experience providing compliance advice on economic sanctions, export controls, and outbound investment (including OFAC, EAR/BIS, ITAR/DDTC, and OGT matters) • Experience advising clients throughout the CFIUS and DCSA processes, including transaction agreement negotiation, filing preparation and submission, mitigation negotiation, and compliance with mitigation measures • Experience conducting internal investigations, preparing voluntary disclosures, and supporting settlement negotiations with enforcement authorities is a plus • Strong writing skills are essential; two written work samples are required for evaluation
