Skanska USA Civil is seeking a strategic and innovative National Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and evolve our national recruiting function. In this high-impact leadership role, you will partner with executive leadership, HR, and operations teams to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that support business growth, workforce planning, project staffing, and long-term organizational capability. You will oversee a national team of Talent Acquisition professionals while driving employer branding, workforce forecasting, recruiting technology, AI-enabled solutions, and talent pipeline development.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading large-scale talent acquisition organizations, building recruiting programs in complex project-based environments, and using workforce analytics to guide business decisions. Success in this role requires executive-level influence, expertise in recruiting technology and talent strategy, and a passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences while delivering measurable business results.

National Director of Talent Acquisition Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, or Human Resources. 
• 5+ years leading multi-region or national Talent Acquisition teams and functions. Proven success leading national or multi-region Talent Acquisition strategy and operations. 
• Experience building and scaling recruiting programs in complex, project-based environments (heavy civil construction preferred). 
• Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, talent pipelining, and strategic sourcing. 
• Strong experience leveraging recruiting metrics, workforce analytics, and labor market insights to drive business decisions. 
• Deep knowledge and experience leading recruitment technology, ATS platforms, CRM tools, and AI-enabled solutions. 
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and key stakeholders.
