The Opportunity

In a rapidly evolving technology and cybersecurity landscape, clients across all industries look to EY for trusted solutions to address increasingly complex risks, threats, and transformation initiatives.

EY is launching a next-generation Microsoft Enterprise Platform capability within our National Consulting Cybersecurity practice. This capability is part of EY's strategic Microsoft partnership and broader value creation initiative, focused on delivering large-scale, enterprise transformation programs across functions such as finance transformation, supply chain, and digital business solutions.

We are hiring multiple Senior Managers to help build, scale, and deliver this capability across AI, Security, and Cloud domains.

As part of this team, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering enterprise-grade Microsoft solutions. You will contribute either as a:
  • Solution Offering Lead, focused on delivery, capability build, and transformation execution
  • Microsoft Enterprise Platform Architect, leading solutioning, deal shaping, and pre-sales strategy


Role Tracks within Microsoft Enterprise Platform

Solution Offering Leads (Delivery & Capability Build)

Responsible for building, scaling, and delivering Microsoft Enterprise Platform solutions across core domains. These leaders drive engagement delivery, capability development, and transformation outcomes.

Microsoft Enterprise Platform Architects (Pre-Sales & Solutioning)

Responsible for shaping client opportunities, architecting Microsoft-based solutions, and supporting go-to-market strategy. These leaders focus on solution design, deal execution, and client-centric innovation, particularly for large-scale Microsoft platform opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Shared Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery or solutioning of Microsoft Enterprise Platform engagements across AI, Security, and Cloud
  • Design and implement enterprise-scale Microsoft solutions aligned to business outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across security, identity, data, and cloud architecture
  • Collaborate across sales, architecture, and delivery teams to drive successful client outcomes
  • Support the growth and scaling of EY's Microsoft Enterprise Platform capability


Solution Offering Leads
  • Lead complex transformation programs and enterprise-scale delivery engagements
  • Build and scale solution offerings across AI, Security, and Cloud domains
  • Drive delivery excellence, governance frameworks, and quality standards
  • Lead implementations across Microsoft technologies, including:
    • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
    • Microsoft Defender Suite (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, Office 365)
    • Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR)
    • Microsoft Purview (Data Security & Compliance)
    • Azure Security capabilities (Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Policy)
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing consulting teams


Microsoft Enterprise Platform Architects
  • Lead solution architecture and deal shaping for large-scale Microsoft platform opportunities, including enterprise transformation programs across finance, supply chain, and operational domains
  • Design end-to-end enterprise platform solutions across:
    • Azure (cloud infrastructure and platform services)
    • Microsoft 365, including Copilot and collaboration platforms
    • Microsoft Security stack (Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, Purview)
    • Data and AI platforms
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure architectures
  • Support proposals, RFP responses, and executive-level client presentations
  • Partner with Solution Offering Leads to ensure alignment from sales through delivery


To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud, AI, or enterprise technology
  • Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, AI, or Dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across both:
    • Sales (pre-sales, proposals, solutioning)
    • Delivery (execution, program leadership)
  • Experience supporting solutioning, proposals, or pre-sales activities within complex Microsoft environments
  • Strong client-facing consulting experience managing senior stakeholders


Ideally, you'll also have
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure, Security, AI, or Copilot-related certifications)
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP
  • Experience building or scaling practices, offerings, or teams
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO, MITRE, or Zero Trust architectures
  • Experience supporting AI, data modernization, or cloud transformation initiatives


Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40-50%, depending on client and engagement needs

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $170,600 to $390,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $204,800 to $443,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
