A little about this role:

As a National Brand Manager (NBM), you are the primary point of contact and strategic liaison between our manufacturer partners and our internal sales teams. You are responsible for executing brand strategies, driving retail performance, and ensuring that each partner receives the highest level of service and support. This is a dynamic role requiring a balance of brand stewardship, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will manage day-to-day operations and communication across assigned brand accounts, ensuring timely execution of initiatives, data accuracy, and professional representation of the brand within the PRESENCE ecosystem.

A day in the life:

  • Brand Ownership & Execution - As an NBM, you take ownership of your assigned brand portfolio, working closely with partners to develop and execute sales and promotional strategies. You are responsible for managing all business drivers including new item launches, promotional activity, innovation planning, seasonal programs, recalls, item changes, and more with the PRESENCE sales teams.
  • Partner Communication & Planning - You act as the key communicator between PRESENCE and the brand. You'll manage call schedules, business reviews, and deliverables, ensuring brand objectives are met and expectations are clear.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - You work closely with internal teams including Sales, Retail Services, Data and Insights, and Brand Specialists to coordinate efforts and keep projects moving forward. You ensure brand data, systems, and promotional planning are accurate, aligned, and actionable.
  • Project & Promotional Management - You oversee the promotional calendars, item trackers, and internal tools that support each brand's visibility and performance. You support Specialists in building presentations, creating business tools, and onboarding new brands with precision and consistency.
  • Data & Insights - You are responsible for understanding and communicating key business drivers using tools like SPINS, Power BI, and distributor reporting. You translate insights into action and use data to inform brand conversations and next steps.
  • Presentation & Meeting Support - You prepare and present business updates, pitch decks, and internal overviews, often representing the brand in calls and virtual meetings. While not always in-person, your presence and professionalism set the tone for PRESENCE's commitment to excellence.
  • Communication is Key - You're expected to maintain value-added, solution-oriented, timely communication across all stakeholders. This includes both internal teams and external partners - ensuring no detail is missed and all needs are addressed.

What Success Looks Like:
  • Accurate and on-time execution of all brand tasks and responsibilities
  • Positive, proactive communication with brand partners and internal teams
  • Clean, consistent project and promotion management across multiple accounts
  • Data-informed insights that support brand recommendations and decisions
  • Effective collaboration with Specialists, Sales, and cross-functional teams
  • Trusted relationships with assigned brands, built on reliability and execution
