Role OverviewSummary:
The National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for the day-to-day duties that support Weber Blackstone's strategic sales plans specific to the Lowe's account focusing on Grilling Accessories, Grill Fuel, Specialty Grills (Vertical Smokers, Portables, Cooking Pots/Boilers, Pizza Ovens, & Electric), Drop Ship/SOS, Outdoor Kitchens and Replacement Parts in-store and online. The NAM executes tactical plans developed in collaboration with the Director of Sales for Lowe's. The NAM will ensure that required support documentation, including category analytical data, is produced accurately and timely. Critical to this position is the support and interaction with cross functional teams, including merchandising, sales, forecasting, planning, marketing, and customer contacts within each retail account.
This is a hybrid role requiring in office days at our satellite office in Mooresville, NC.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop sales growth initiatives for Grilling Accessories, Grill Fuel, Specialty Grills (Vertical Smokers, Portables, Cooking Pots/Boilers, Pizza Ovens, & Electric), Drop Ship/SOS, Outdoor Kitchens and Replacement Parts in collaboration with Director of Sales for Lowe's to meet or exceed sales goals & identify opportunities that might make sense in US retail group.
- Directly manage two Merchant level relationships & two Brand Advocate relationships.
- Help identify events and product displays, then work in cooperation with core team (product management, forecasting, and logistics) to produce, sell, and execute within US retail group.
- Travel as required by business conditions to call on key customers, gather market intelligence or attend shows.
- Manage all Lowe's Training & store support requests.
- Work in cooperation with Director of Sales Lowe's and forecasting team to gather retail POS, analyze category, predict future business and suggest alternatives.
- Track purchase orders, forecasts, in store inventory levels, on time shipments and relevant data to ensure smooth daily operations of each retail account.
- Develop and maintain working relationship with Lowe's personnel. This could include their buyer/merchandising, inventory replenishment, demand planning, logistics, marketing and advertising associates.
- Work in cooperation with Ecomm team to monitor Lowes.com to ensure all Weber Blackstone products appear accurate and maintain updated information.
- Resolving problems and ensuring customers receive high quality customer service.
- Read, understand and analyze data available to Weber Blackstone.
- Ability to self-start and move forward special projects and sales initiatives in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience selling into Lowe's as a NAM or other account representative owning Lowe's Merchant relationships.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook
- Strong working knowledge of Vendor Partner Plus (VPP) and other Lowe's Vendor Gateway applications
