Job Description
Act as the primary point of contact for designated nationally focused accounts, overseeing all aspects of the client relationship. This includes managing day-to-day needs, identifying opportunities to expand services, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance client satisfaction, strengthen long-term partnerships, and maximize revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities
Partner with national accounts of various sizes to understand and meet their business objectives while increasing revenue and profit to the business.Partner with key client contacts to ensure projects are assigned resources to obtain future account growth.Collaborate closely with Operations Managers, National Director, Department Managers, Program/Project Managers, and other internal personnel to ensure client needs are met and quality exceeds expectations.Cultivate close working relationships with key personnel at all levels to support growth and sustainability of client accounts.Champion the identification, pursuit, and generation of new leads with new and current clients; identify new growth opportunities and assist in strategizing and implementing account plans.Draft and recommend a strategic plan to identify key business opportunities at new client accounts based on market research and pipeline analysis.Serve as the single point of contact to the client where applicable; manage and lead cross-selling, proposal development, and contract negotiation across multiple service lines.Implement long-term business and marketing strategies.Incorporate chargeable time into national account pricing scenarios for account management/review.Manage project-related risk; ensure contracts are signed and fully executed prior to commencing work. Monitor adherence to corporate risk policies and practices and hold managers accountable for mitigating risk.Communicate safety initiatives, rules, and guidelines; hold managers and employees accountable for following safety standards.Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement. Ensure best practices are followed and hold managers accountable for quality control standards.Be familiar with potential project risks and how to protect the Company; promote pre-task planning and support team safety efforts.Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, civil engineering, earth sciences, construction management or related field and a minimum of 8 years' related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 12 years' related experience. Experience in client relations and managing accounts having a national footprint in the A/E/C industry. Experience in marketing professional services and managing accounts in Terracon's strategic business sectors. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required. PE, PG, CPSM, LEED AP or other professional designation preferredTerracon Authorized Project Reviewer preferred
