Required Qualifications:- Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Board certified and licensed (or eligible) in South Carolina
- Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, or critical care preferred
- Experience with structural heart or interventional cardiology strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong procedural, clinical, and communication skills
Position Highlights:- Provide direct clinical care to interventional cardiology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Evaluate and manage new and established patients using clinical history, physical examination, laboratory findings, imaging, and other diagnostic results.
- Coordinate referrals, consultations, follow-up care, and transitions across the patient journey.
- Collaborate closely with the attending or collaborating physician and the broader cardiovascular team.
- Document and bill for care provided in accordance with organizational and professional standards.
- Apply current research and evidence-based decision-making to clinical practice.
- Participate in quality improvement, performance improvement, clinical research, accreditation, compliance, and regulatory activities.
- Support the development of future clinicians by precepting APP students and helping onboard new team members, as needed.
