Full Job Description
The MuleSoft Integration Developer will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of data integration solutions that enable seamless data flow across various systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development, cloud data solutions, and an understanding of data architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate transfer of data to support data-driven decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into centralized data systems (e.g., data warehouses, databases).
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to transform and load data. Implement and maintain data pipelines using integration tools like Informatica, Mulesoft, Apache Nifi, or cloud-native tools (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
- Work closely with Data Engineers and Architects to design scalable, reliable, and secure data integration solutions.
- Assist in creating technical specifications and designing data integration workflows for complex systems.
- Design data models to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency of data processing across systems.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency by implementing validation checks, error-handling mechanisms, and data cleansing.
- Perform testing of data integration processes to ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability.
- Address data quality issues promptly, and optimize integration processes to reduce errors and improve performance.
- Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements and ensure integration solutions meet business needs.
- Communicate project status, timelines, and challenges to key stakeholders.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for data integration processes, procedures, and code.
- Monitor and optimize existing data integration workflows for improved performance.
- Ensure that all integrations follow best practices for security, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards.
This is a hybrid role and will require three days per week in the office. Primary hiring location is Chesterbrook, PA. May consider qualified candidates in Nashville, Tampa or Orlando.
What you need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with MuleSoft data integration tools, ETL development, or data engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, ).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with popular data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Mulesoft Apache Nifi, SSIS) or cloud-native ETL solutions (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java for data manipulation and automation tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing data workflows and ensuring data quality. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud data architecture.
- Experience with Data Integration tools like Mulesoft, Informatica, AWS Glue etc.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Certifications in relevant cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or data integration tools.
- Informatica Cloud Data Integration Developer Certification
- MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or 2 Certification
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
