Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative MTT Instructor to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.

Responsibilities
  • Lead mobile training team (MTT) engagements across CONUS/OCONUS: plan, deploy, and deliver instructor-led and virtual training at PEC, ARRTC, regional sites, and austere field locations.
  • Design and deliver scenario-based, mission-aligned curricula that translate system workflows into applied exercises and performance-focused outcomes.
  • Prepare and validate classroom/lab environments: hardware, software, access controls, network connectivity, and training accounts to ensure operational readiness.
  • Provide real-time technical troubleshooting and adaptive instruction to maintain course continuity and maximize learner comprehension.
  • Collaborate with product owners, functional leads, and training centers to update lesson plans, incorporate system enhancements, policy changes, and emerging capabilities into courseware.
  • Establish instructional standards, mentor and evaluate junior instructors, and codify facilitation techniques and learner engagement best practices.
  • Conduct pilot deliveries, collect structured feedback, administer knowledge assessments, and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain rapid deployment readiness for system rollouts, operational surges, and enterprise initiatives; produce after-action reports and lessons learned.
  • Manage training artifacts, versioned courseware, and ensure alignment with enterprise training governance and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Candidate must meet ONE of the following:
    • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; OR
    • Relevant DoD/military training (examples: 4C-FA26B; Knowledge Manager (Advanced) Playlist); OR
    • Relevant professional certification or equivalent instructional experience in enterprise training development and delivery.
  • Required experience and skills:
    • Instructional design/delivery, MTT, or training operations experience with at least 3 years delivering technical training at enterprise scale.
    • Demonstrated expertise in ISD/ADDIE methodologies, curriculum development, assessment design, and scenario-based adult learning.
    • Hands-on experience configuring training labs/environments, validating mission systems for instruction, and performing technical troubleshooting under time constraints.
    • Strong facilitation, classroom management, and mentorship skills; ability to adapt instruction for diverse learner populations and delivery modalities (in-person, VTC, virtual).
    • Proven ability to produce training metrics, AARs, and decision-grade recommendations to improve program effectiveness and readiness.
  • Desired:
    • Prior DoD/ARNG MTT or training center delivery experience and familiarity with PEC/ARRTC workflows.
    • Experience supporting CONUS/OCONUS deployments, mobile training logistics, and austere environment constraints.
    • Familiarity with LMS integration, SCORM/packaging, and training automation for rapid course distribution.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
