About the Role: Seeking a detail-oriented, full-time ARRT certified MRI Technologist to join our Schaumburg outpatient center. This role is a great fit for someone who prioritizes image quality, patient experience, and work-life balance. You will manage and execute dual-modality diagnostic imaging scans, seamlessly transitioning between MR and CT schedules based on patient volume while maintaining an efficient, fast-paced workflow.

Location: On-site in Schaumburg, IL
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10). 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Exact designated day off during the week will vary by clinical center).
Pay: $38.00 - $50.00/hr ($79,040.00 - $104,000.00)
Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional imaging experience, with a proven ability to run a modality completely independently. Prior experience managing a fast-paced patient volume (ideally 18-22 scans per day/30-minute time slots), either within a high-turnover outpatient clinic or a busy inpatient hospital setting.
- Certification: Active ARRT certification in MRI/CT, or an equivalent approved MR certification. Valid and active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Skills: Fully competent and experienced in safely administering IV contrast. Prior experience or an active interest in cross-training into alternative advanced modalities, such as Mammography or DEXA is preferred. Open to MRI only as well.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities: - Independent Modality Operation: Manage and execute dual-modality diagnostic imaging scans, seamlessly transitioning between MR and CT schedules based on patient volume.
- High-Volume Patient Care: Maintain an efficient, fast-paced workflow to safely care for 18-22 patients per day, adhering to a precise 30-minute scheduling block.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform high-quality imaging scans and confidently administer IV contrast to patients as required by the physician's order.
- Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Work dynamically alongside an on-site radiologist and clinic management while actively supporting fellow technologists with patient positioning and room preparation to ensure fluid clinic operations.
- Patient Experience & Bedside Manner: Guide patients independently through the entire imaging process, providing compassionate education and strong de-escalation/reassurance for anxious individuals.
- Documentation: Accurately document exam information in electronic systems and communicate relevant findings or concerns to physicians.
