Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans to diagnose diseases per established protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients while selecting technical parameters.
  • Administer necessary contrast agents and medications complying with regulations.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, reporting any abnormal signs.
  • Ensure quality imaging and accurate patient information submission to PACS.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and suggest protocol adjustments if needed.

Department: Computerized Tomography CT

Schedule: Night shift | Full-time

Salary range: $37.50 - $52.27 per hour

<Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000.00 until June 30, 2026

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Perform CT scans to diagnose disease and injury following radiologist-established protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients, select appropriate technical parameters, and administer contrast/medications within scope and regulations.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity.
  • Ensure high-quality image submission to PACS with accurate patient data.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and recommend protocol updates as needed.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist credentialed from IEMA obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
