Job DescriptionPosition OverviewPay Rate: $150,000 - $180,000 annually
The role will initially focus on supporting client's rapidly growing modular data center and e-house programs while eventually evolving based on the individual's strengths and career aspirations. Long term, the position has strong leadership potential and could grow into a Data Site Lead or broader program leadership role. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Review electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and modular electrical system designs
- Coordinate with Engineers of Record and integration partners
- Drive projects through procurement and equipment acquisition phases
- Manage supplier and integrator relationships
- Support design reviews and code compliance reviews
- Coordinate delivery schedules and logistics
- Participate in factory witness testing and inspections
- Visit manufacturing partners and evaluate potential new suppliers
- Support onsite construction coordination and commissioning activities
- Identify project risks before they become issues
- Develop creative solutions for schedule, design, and procurement challenges
- Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills
Must-Haves - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong Project Management experience
- Experience within modular construction, modular infrastructure, industrial electrical systems, or similar environments
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and electrical design packages
- Knowledge of medium and low-voltage electrical equipment
- Experience serving as a liaison between engineering, procurement, vendors, and construction stakeholders
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong risk management mindset and ability to anticipate issues before they occur
Technical Knowledge Required - Electrical system design fundamentals
- Industrial electrical equipment
- OSHA standards
- NEC code exposure
- IEC standards awareness
- Electrical equipment maintenance and clearance requirements
- Code review experience
- Ability to identify design deficiencies and compliance issues
