General Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our WRD Modem Tech team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and optimizing sophisticated power management software for next-generation mobile platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Embedded Software, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Embedded Software, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:- Embedded Programming: Proven expertise in Embedded C/C++ and deep understanding of RTOS fundamentals
- AI Proficiency: Conversant with using AI tools (such as Copilot, LLMs, or custom scripts) to accelerate code development, automate debugging, and enhance productivity.
- Problem Solving: Strong background in low-level debugging and power profiling.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded software within the MCPM subsystem.
- Participate in technical initiatives.
- Analyze and resolve complex power-related and stability-related issues using logs and diagnostic traces.
- Collaborate on hardware-software co-design to improve power architecture and algorithms.
Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $122,500.00 - $183,700.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
