Full Job Description
We're looking for a MobileEngineer to join our Pager Health team. The ideal candidate would have demonstrated technical experience in prior roles, working with large code bases and a team of engineers. The candidate should possess the ability to take on important business challenges and execute them with precision and quality.
Responsibilities
• Architect and build applications and SDKs for the iOS platform
• Manage releases and SDK versioning
• Maintain a public facing API documentation for working with our SDKs, and ideate and propose platform specific improvements for our SDKs
• Maintain code quality and high standards of development
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure along with internal tooling and reporting infrastructure
• Work with product team to translate business requirements into smaller work units for the engineering team
• Collaborate with other engineers to plan, build and test new features
• Understand existing tech debt, and work with team leads on proposals to manage tech debt
• Participate in technology roadmap discussions
REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years of experience with native iOS development, with fluency in Android a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Excellent communication skills, particularly when working with less technical stakeholders
• Strong experience coding with Objective-C and Swift, Cocoapods experience preferred
• A strong understanding of core OOP concepts and data structures, and building SDKs
• A strong understanding of concurrency and memory management in iOS
• Expertise working with RESTful Architecture/Networking
• Experience with unit and functional testing
• Experience with other dependency managers
• Experience with HIPAA and strong security practices is helpful
For Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the pay range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000. The compensation package may include stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC.
