Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Mission Integration Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.

 

As a Mission Integration Systems Engineer on our team, you will work across program and supported organizations to promote cross-program coordination and technical collaboration to reduce integration risk and standardize systems engineering processes.  You will also support the customer’s interest in applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering to their projects and initiatives. #AJCM

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Experience in a broad range of systems engineering sub-disciplines (e.g., architecture, requirements, testing, analysis, etc.) in both operational and developmental environments.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate professionally and constructively with a wide range of technical contributors and customers coming from varied backgrounds and experiences.
  • Experience supporting and interacting with high-level government customers.
  • Broad experience with customer organizations and goals.
  • Experience applying MBSE and digital engineering.
  • Ability to facilitate government customer’s implementation of an Enterprise focused digital engineering Ecosystem. Knowledge or experience with how digital engineering Ecosystems have been implemented in other organizations is a strong plus
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Target Salary Range$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
