The OpportunitySnorkel AI is seeking an Mission Account Executive focused on the Intelligence Community.
This is not a traditional software sales role.
Our customers are not simply purchasing licenses or infrastructure. They are investing in AI capabilities that help solve real mission challenges. Success requires understanding customer missions, identifying where AI can create measurable impact, and helping organizations operationalize trusted AI systems.
We are looking for someone who can engage credibly with intelligence professionals, mission operators, technical teams, program managers, and senior government leaders.
The ideal candidate may come from industry, government, military, intelligence, consulting, or a combination of those environments.
While sales experience is important, we place equal value on mission understanding, technical curiosity, and the ability to learn and communicate complex AI concepts.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to build.

What You'll DoBuild and Grow an Intelligence Community Territory- Identify, develop, and advance opportunities across the Intelligence Community.
- Build trusted relationships with mission operators, analysts, technical leaders, program offices, and acquisition stakeholders.
- Develop a strategic territory plan and drive execution against growth objectives.
- Create opportunities through direct engagement, networking, industry events, mission understanding, and partner relationships.
Help Customers Solve Mission Problems with AI- Understand customer missions, workflows, operational challenges, and emerging priorities.
- Help customers identify where AI can create measurable mission impact.
- Collaborate with solution architects, AI engineers, and mission experts to shape solutions aligned to customer needs.
- Translate mission requirements into AI-enabled operational outcomes.
Lead Complex Opportunity Development- Own opportunities from initial engagement through contract award.
- Coordinate multi-stakeholder engagements involving mission users, technical teams, leadership, contracting organizations, and industry partners.
- Build business cases that connect AI investments to mission outcomes.
- Accurately manage pipeline development, forecasting, and opportunity progression.
Develop Technical and Mission Credibility- Become fluent in Snorkel's approach to AI evaluation, benchmarking, data development, and trusted AI deployment.

Preferred BackgroundIntelligence Community or National Security Experience- Experience supporting or operating within the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or National Security organizations.
- Active Secret, TS, or TS/SCI clearance.
- Prior Intelligence Community experience.
- Familiarity with mission areas such as:
- Intelligence Analysis
- Collection & Targeting
- Operational Planning
- Cyber Operations
- National Security Investigations
- Mission Command & Decision Support
- Understanding of government acquisition and funding processes is a plus.
AI, Data, or Advanced Technology Exposure- Experience working with AI, machine learning, analytics, cyber, data, cloud, or emerging technology programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interest in understanding how trusted AI systems are developed, evaluated, and deployed.
Business Development, Sales, or Leadership Experience- Experience developing opportunities, building relationships, influencing stakeholders, or leading complex initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and drive outcomes.
- Experience in sales, consulting, capture, mission support, program leadership, military leadership, or government service is valued.
What This Role Is NotThis is not a relationship-management position.
This is not a government affairs role.
This is not a role for someone who simply opens doors and hands opportunities to others.
We are looking for someone who wants to own outcomes.
You will have support from executive leadership, AI engineers, solution architects, mission experts, and delivery teams, but you will be expected to drive customer engagement, opportunity development, and territory growth yourself.
Bonus Qualifications- Military intelligence or operational experience.
- Experience supporting AI, analytics, cyber, cloud, or advanced technology programs.
- Experience selling or delivering outcome-based solutions and professional services engagements.
LocationWashington, DC / Northern Virginia preferred.
Regular engagement with customers throughout the National Capital Region and Intelligence Community ecosystem is expected.
Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

$230,000-$345,000 USD
